Sports Headphones are lightweight headphones or earphones ideal for any user who will be moving around while listening.  They are ideal for the active user because they provide a snug fit while allowing maximum mobility.  They generally come in behind-the-head, in-ear, and clip-on styles.  It’s important to choose the style based on the type of sound the listener needs.  Someone who will be outside and needs to be aware of their surroundings for safety should go with a behind-the-head or clip-on style with either on-ear headphones or earbuds.

Behind the head headphones hold earbuds or on-ear headphones in place with a band that rests between the head and neck.  The band can mostly be hidden underneath hair or behind a collar.  These headphones are also beneficial for a listener who will be moving around- who wants more support than just earbuds but doesn’t want the over-the-head headphones.
